FAMILY DOLLAR RENEWS 6,468 SF LEASE AT FOODMASTER PLAZA IN MEDFORD
MEDFORD, MASS. (Issued April 2010) – Family Dollar has renewed its lease for 6,468 square feet at Medford’s Foodmaster Plaza at 469 – 471 Salem St. (Route 60) on The Fellsway (Route 28). This renewal maintains the plaza’s 100% occupancy.
The announcement was made by Exclusive Broker, Frank O’Neill of The Grossman Companies, Inc., of Quincy, who negotiated the renewal. O’Neill noted that the plaza’s tenant mix and the area’s excellent demographics have helped to keep the 81,000 square-foot s retail plaza fully leased.
Besides Family Dollar and anchor tenant Johnny’s Foodmaster Supermarket, other tenants include Rite Aid, Mike’s Gym, The Hair Cuttery, Alexander Liquors, and a Bank of America ATM. A quarter million people live within 3 miles of the property.
Family Dollar, a 50-year-old company with 6,600 stores in 44 states, is a Fortune 500 company.
